Well...it did not quite go down like that. I was removing a pair of pristine headlights from a Reno...when he walked up asking if I had one. I just replied "No, but a buddy of mine does" Then he went on to tell me that he has 3....and that they are bad for bending valves when the T belts break.  And that he had pulled the head off the car from which I was removing the headlights. |

Did you really get a set of headlights? Absolutely. After my last 4 day trip, I have quite a few of them on hand right now. I'd venture to guess 5 sets of them. |

Bob, I just looked...and I have a total of 6 sets on hand.
Being the great friend you are...you know I could never sell you a set.
But if you wanted to swap yours for a finished set, that would be A-Ok with me.
Or I can refinish yours when I come up for Carlisle as we had talked about.
OR...I could just post up a detailed headlight restoration thread, going thru the process and materials....and you could do it yourself.
The key step of the process being resealing the lenses so they don't fade and haze. No spray gun or "paint store" materials needed.
Oh...and they fit 2005-2008
